Yacht Club Games has kept fairly quiet about Mina the Hollower, its Game Boy-inspired action adventure with a classic Zelda-style feel. The game is still expected in spring 2026, but a fresh update suggests the final stretch is now underway.
The studio has confirmed that Mina the Hollower has gone gold. That usually means development is in a strong finishing position, so a proper release date could be coming soon as the spring launch window gets closer to its end.
That said, the timing is not fully locked in just yet. May would be the easy guess, but Yacht Club Games also said it has only just begun the submissions process with its first-party partners, so there is still a chance the game could move beyond the original spring target.
Mina the Hollower is planned for both Switch 1 and Switch 2. On Switch 2, the game will support 120fps gameplay. Players also got an early look last year through a limited-time demo available on both systems.

So the full launch does not seem far off now. Yacht Club Games previously said late last year that Mina the Hollower could be a make-or-break project for the team, which gives this upcoming release a little extra weight as fans wait for the final date.
