A New Pixel Adventure Lands On Switch
Elementallis is now available on Nintendo Switch, arriving on the eShop today, April 28, 2026. At first sight, it sits comfortably in that beloved top-down pixel adventure lane that so many indie games have explored over the years. The familiar echo of classic Zelda is easy to spot, with swordplay, real-time action, puzzles, and temples all forming part of the journey.
The twist comes from the name itself. Elementallis is built around magic, with players collecting and learning different elemental powers as they travel. Fire, water, wind, and lightning are all part of the expected set, shown clearly through the game's own logo. That gives the adventure a little extra sparkle beyond the usual sword-and-dungeon rhythm.
There is also a story reason for all of this elemental work. The balance of the elements has been thrown into trouble because of the player's own actions, and the adventure is about setting things right again. That setup suggests the game is not only leaning on puzzles and combat, but also on character and narrative to give the quest some weight.
Elementallis has taken a long road to Switch. The game was previously shown through Kickstarter back in 2021, and Ankae Games has now brought that project across the finish line. For players who enjoy a clean, retro-styled adventure with a magical edge, this one may be worth a look.
The game is priced at $17.99 / £16.19 on the Switch eShop. Anyone picking it up before May 12 can get a 15% discount, making launch window a slightly cheaper time to try its blend of temples, puzzles, sword combat, and elemental magic.
