Animal Crossing: New Horizons has received another small update, and this one is mostly about making a recent anniversary item easier to find. Version 3.0.3 is now available, following the special Animal Crossing anniversary update that arrived earlier this month and added a leaf statue to the game.

With this new patch, that same leaf statue can now be bought through the Nook Shopping furniture catalog. So, if the item slipped past you the first time around, it should now appear there like a regular catalog purchase. Nintendo has also adjusted the item's price as part of the update.

Alongside the furniture catalog change, Version 3.0.3 includes bug fixes for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The update is not a giant island-shaking patch, but it tidies up the anniversary rollout and helps make the new collectible a little more reachable for players who still enjoy checking in on their island.

The timing fits neatly with a bigger milestone for the cozy series. Earlier this month, Animal Crossing celebrated its 25th anniversary. As part of that celebration, the soundtrack from the GameCube entry was added to Nintendo Music. Earlier in the year, New Horizons also received a major update and a Switch 2 Edition.

Nintendo has been busy elsewhere today as well. Super Mario Galaxy 2 on Switch has also been updated, with a new story added to the storybook. For retro-minded Nintendo fans, it is a quiet but pleasant day of small extras, familiar music, and a few more reasons to revisit old favorites.
