LEGO and SEGA have shown off a new SEGA Genesis Console set, giving retro game fans a neat little shelf piece for 2026. The reveal follows LEGO’s latest Animal Crossing announcement, but this one is aimed squarely at the 16-bit crowd.

Officially listed as Set 40926, the build is described as a detailed model made for people who enjoy both creative building and classic gaming. It is not a working console, of course, but it is built to look the part, with detachable controllers and extra decorative details.

There is a nice touch for fans outside the Genesis name, too. If Mega Drive is the version you grew up with, the model can be customized to match that style, keeping the same warm retro spirit while nodding to SEGA’s different console branding.
