Recalbox has introduced the RGB JAMMA 2, a follow-up to its original Raspberry Pi to JAMMA adapter. This new version is made specifically for the Raspberry Pi 5.
The kit includes the JAMMA adapter and a white printed case. That case does more than look neat, since it also helps isolate the electronics.
This model costs more than twice as much as the first JAMMA adapter. Even so, that price jump is easier to understand when you factor in the included resin-printed shell, broader inflation over the last three years, and the extra features in this newer version.
On the software side, the board should be close to plug and play if you pair it with RecalBox software. In real arcade cabinet terms, that still comes with the usual setup realities, but it sounds like the software side is meant to be straightforward for people who already own a cab.

If you want to see how it works in practice, there is also a video showing the RGB JAMMA 2 in action.

For retro arcade fans building around a Raspberry Pi 5, this looks like a more polished second pass rather than a simple reissue. It keeps the same core idea, but with a cleaner package and a few practical upgrades.
