Mega Man 2 is getting a pocket-sized twist, only this time the pocket can stay empty. F84 Games and Capcom are preparing Mega Man: My Play Watch, a digital gaming watch built around the classic NES platformer.
The watch is part of the My Play Watch line from F84 Games. It offers a new way to play Mega Man 2 on a small touchscreen device, while still keeping the everyday watch features you would expect on your wrist.
Pre-Orders And Release Window
Mega Man: My Play Watch was announced on April 4, 2026. Pre-orders opened on April 29, 2026, exclusively through GameStop, where the watch is listed for $79.99.

The device is currently scheduled to begin shipping to customers sometime in June 2026. As with any pre-order, that timing is the stated plan for now, not a guarantee that every order will arrive on the same day.
How Mega Man 2 Plays
The watch includes two playable versions of Mega Man 2. Classic mode lets players choose between multiple Robot Master stages, take on bosses, and work through a progression-based version of the game.
Arcade mode takes a more direct route, sending players through connected stages with a tighter, run-based feel. The listed game modes also include Play Time, alongside Classic and Arcade.
Built-In Details
- Display: 1.91-inch TFT touchscreen, designed for bright color, clear visuals, and smooth play.
- Features: standard watch functions are included, such as telling the time, tracking steps, and monitoring heart rate.
- Connectivity: none. The watch does not include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or app support.
That no-connectivity approach gives the watch a nicely old-school shape: it is a self-contained little gadget, closer in spirit to a dedicated handheld than a modern smartwatch packed with notifications. For Mega Man fans, the main draw is simple: Mega Man 2, playable from the wrist in a new official format.
