Tito from Macho Nacho Productions has opened a new web store where people can buy the files needed to build their own Xbox prototype.
The store includes full-sized files for an original prototype-style recreation, complete with an optical drive. For hardware fans, that alone makes this a fun release to see out in the wild.
One of the nicest touches is the center jewel, which can be programmed with any logo you want. That means builders can follow Tito’s own Xbox Prototype look or try a custom version of their own.
It also feels like a good moment for the wider modding community. With these files available, more people can experiment with the project and push the idea in new directions.
There is also a practical side to this. Tito created the files and keeps a full bill of materials updated to go with them, so this is not just a download drop, but an ongoing project with real work behind it.
